I’ve just purchased a load of little gold vases for weddings coming up this season so thought I’d have a play with them to see what could be done. I love the luxurious feel they offer, and even though they’d look great with any colour or flower, I wanted to create a sensual arrangement using this seasons faves, Magnolias and Hellebores.
I created this with white and pink Magnolia, purple hellebores, jasmine and pink pieris.
Magnolias mean dignity in the language of flowers ‐ so I like to use them in opulent ways. I think they’re perfect matched with gold, with blooms open and shut, along with the buds like a fine looking velvet sofa.
