Blooms of the Week – Lu Diamond

IMG_0043

This bouquet was seriously heavy, once it was bound and tied with the elegant silk and willow ribbon
I panicked for 5 minutes “essshhhh it’s too big” then I remembered that generally all my brides request a massive explosion of flowers, which is what always wants aim to create.

This bouquet suited my bride to a T, wild, fun and gorgeous. I wanted to use a beautiful balance of soft and neutral tones in contrast to deeper tones, but wanted to avoid creams and whites.
In walks in the earl grey rose, which appears to be the go to for wedding florists at the moment, or perhaps it always has been and I’m slow to the party.
Framed with lots of textural greenery to add shape and volume it had to be transported in a large vase and bucket – it got the special treatment and I am so excited to see the professional images come through!
