After reaching a hilltop overlooking beautiful vineyards and an Italian villa, I got on one knee. Adrenaline kicked in, and no words came out, and I was sweating profusely in the 30-degree heat…but a beautiful moment nonetheless.

He pointed out some tracks along the mountainside, and I turned around to him on one knee – a moment no story, movie, song, or book could prepare you for.

I proposed to Dustin on his birthday with a 1959 Rolex while on holiday at our favourite hotel in Provence.

As I peered over the top edge of the card, there he was with a ring asking me to spend all of our tomorrows together.

We were posing for a picture on this perfect heart-shaped sand mound, and out of the blue, he dropped down on one knee. I can’t remember what was said, but I cried a lot. It was perfect.

Being quite young with different plans, after university we went our separate ways which was hard at the time but one of those moments where we knew that if it was meant to be, it was meant to be.

When she entered the bedroom to help him look, Seb was instead down on one knee asking her to marry him! She said yes – of course.

Even though we had gone through many things in life, we always remained each other’s constant and knew that even in times when our communication wasn’t the best, we always had each other’s backs.
