We are very sad to announce the closing of Parnell boutique Amber Whitecliffe, Amber has been a wonderful supporter of Together Journal and we have loved having her as part of the magazine but as she explains new things are on her horizon…
“Amber Whitecliffe recently celebrated 7 years in business, our Parnell Boutique’s 5th birthday, and for me personally 14 years working in New Zealand’s incredible fashion industry. Amber Whitecliffe has come so far and I am really proud of what myself and my team have achieved together! Dressing thousands of women and being involved in over 400 weddings. All of this wouldn’t have been possible without your support over the past 7 years so I wanted to firstly say, thank you.
As most of you know, life has thrown a few obstacles my way recently and I have decided that it is the right move and right time to take a break and a step back for a little while. Health is wealth, as the saying goes and after my recent ectopic pregnancy and upcoming knee surgery, I have been reminded that it is so important to be able to take time look after yourself and spend quality time with loved ones, time which I have, over these years, sacrificed a lot of. I LOVE what I do and have put everything into this business, so this decision has been very difficult to make. I will really miss the daily interactions with you, my customers and those who have become dear friends over the years. I am so so grateful for your encouragment, and support of both myself and Made-in-NZ clothing. I’m excited to take a step back, reassess and see what this new chapter brings! We are currently busy working away on our last wedding orders for the year. Our Bridal Sample Gowns are now on SALE along with our ready-to-wear garments and fabrics! Our last day in our Parnell boutique is 1st of June, so come and see us for your last chance to do some AW shopping and to say goodbye! We would love to see you before we move out!
