Stevo grew up on Barnbougle, in north-east Tasmania, a cattle and potato farm now best known for its two world class gold courses. I love that Stevo is a lovable larrikin. He’s got a cheeky smile, he’s able to laugh at himself and not take things too seriously.

We are Olivia and Mark, and we got married in March 2020 after six years of being together. We live in Canberra but are originally from Melbourne and northern NSW, and we have two dogs - Esto, a mini long-haired dachshund and Maisie, a golden retriever.

I moved to Gisborne from the US in 2012 at 16. I had only been in Gisborne for a few weeks when a local school here decided to have a concert. One of my friends (my first friend here actually) convinced me to go with her as I needed to get out and meet people.

Our adventure together started in high school. What began as a high school romance, has now blossomed into a beautiful family, with our 2.5 year old son, Atlas, and our two beautiful dogs, Koda and Kiara. I think, what Dan and I share the most, is our love for making memories.
Tell us how you meet each other?
We met via the good old swipe right technique, Tinder. Our celebrant did a wonderful job of compiling our story from a questionnaire that we’d filled out for her and shared the story from both sides. It was June 14th 2017, a cold dark night in Melbourne and we’d agreed to meet at a wine bar in Brunswick, Mr Wilkinson.

Bryan: We’ve been together for 4 years now. The first time we met was actually in Beijing when Jacob was doing his internship year in China throughout his Bachelor degree. I was working in Beijing at that time.

Blair is a plumber by trade & a lover of Rugby. He was born & raised in Far North NZ. I am a receptionist who loves to live a relaxed low key life & I was born & raised in Newcastle NSW. We bought a house together 2 years ago & have spent pretty much every weekend over those 2 years working on our never ending renovations!
Tell us a little about yourselves, what you do, what you love, what is unique about you and your relationship:
We live in beautiful Yackandandah, north east Victoria. Hugh works as a construction project manager and I work in agribusiness finance. I am currently building my small business as a micro flower-grower – Twist Creek Flora. I studied natural resource management at university and just love growing plants. I am focusing on growing chemical-free, seasonal flowers for local supply.

I was based in Australia, when I replied to Dave’s ad on FB while he was looking for a roommate in New Zealand - a month after moving in I wasn’t sleeping in my own room anymore!

Kenny is a farmer and I work as a registered nurse. Our family includes cats Bill and Barry, and Frank the dog, who does double duty as a house and working dog. We actually grew up not far from one another in small towns on the East Cape, leading quite similar lives, both being the youngest in our families with older sisters.
One day, Bianca and I watched a television show in which a CIA director suddenly has to get his wife to safety. She’s waiting in a restaurant, but instead of turning up himself, he has a letter delivered that says, “pretend you need to make a call and leave the cafe now. Walk 40 steps left — there’s a grey SUV on the corner. Get in.”
