We met in high school in the good old days of MSN messenger and flip phones, and it’s been a whirlwind 12 years since then. Who knew my first boyfriend would also be my last?

We first met in high school through our youth group 10 years ago. What started as a cheeky and playful friend-ship in high school developed into a relationship by our first year of university, and before we knew it, Ben was down on one knee, 9 years later!

We were set up on a blind date in Sydney, Australia, and have been globe-hopping ever since. We now live in New York with our little boy Atlas and soon to be baby boy number two.

We are both doctors - Lucy is an eye doctor, and I am an ear, nose and throat doctor. We first met during a pre-med school tutorial. I was a second-year med student giving the tutorial, and Lucy was one of the pre-med students.

Emily is a Project Manager for Sport and Recreation Projects and Rowan is a Postal Services Officer and Solid Plasterer. We both grew up in Melbourne not too far from one another, but we didn’t know each other in Melbourne.

We met in university while both working for a Biology department and have been friends ever since. Over time, we learned that our personalities are polar opposite and they actually complement each other.

We met at work in 2014. It was a very mean but flirty relationship between the two of us. Alex would always tell me (Anthony) to “get back to work and stop stuffing around”.

James and I met in our early twenties when we were both figuring out what we wanted our lives to look like.

Paul & I met at ‘90’s night’ at Perseverance in Fitzroy, Victoria. We hit it off straight away (even if I couldn’t understand his Irish accent over the music) and have been inseparable for the last 8 years.

Hannah’s life was irrevocably corrupted on the 13th of November 2013 when she was thrust into the bowels of her own worst nightmare by falling for a workplace romance in a hospital wing, just as she’d never dreamed.

We both work in the travel industry (well we did until the recent pandemic that is!) which is how we met. Troy is from Sydney and Bec is from Melbourne – after some interstate work conferences and a series of Nick Cave mixed tape style exchanges, a long-distance romance ensued.
