Our story begins years before we actually met. The Briants grew up on a farm neighbouring my grandparents. As kids we used to play on my grandparents’ tennis court and could hear the roar of motorcross bikes down the hill.

We are both from Melbourne, have been together for 9 years, and have been living in London for 4.5 of them.

We met several years ago pursuing previous sporting related careers. Now we both share a passion for sustainability and the environment and love spending time down in South West Victoria on family farms getting our hands dirty.
Petrea: We live and work on Auckland’s North Shore, where I’m a high school teacher and Shay’s a lawyer.

Byron and I met ten years ago when he was playing a penguin and I was an Antarctic scientist in a new New Zealand play. In the show, Byron was completely naked and body painted while I was overheating in full Antarctic gear.

I would say we complement each other perfectly. Jacob is super laid back and very level headed. Cass is the organiser, the planner and the one who keeps our little family running smoothly.
Lyse: We’re just two adventurous, geeky kids who fell in love as teenagers in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales. I was 18, he was 16 — not that I knew that until we started dating, because he certainly didn’t look or act 16.
Tell us a little about yourselves, what you do, what you love, what is unique about you and your relationship… Corey and I knew of each other through a mutual friend, but first laid eyes on each other at a music festival where he intrigued me as he was dressed as a pilot.
Tell us a little about yourselves, what you do, what you love, what is unique about you and your relationship … I (Salila) am a Registered nurse working at Auckland emergency department and Errol is a qualified builder working on Waiheke island (worked as a qualified chef for 8 years prior).
Christopher & Arthur: We’re both professionals who live in London. Christopher is an architect and Arthur works as a commercial finance manager. We met through a dating app in 2015 and immediately hit it off.

I was travelling around Australia locuming as a radiographer. I had arrived in WA and was working at the hospital one night when I came across Darren, he had come in to have his knee x-rayed.
