Following two wildly successful bridal pop up stores at the Nishi Gallery and Ovolo Nishi Hotel in 2018-19, Mrs Fray is setting down her permanent retail roots in the nation’s capital at the new Campbell 5 Precinct.

The Mrs Fray bridal concept store will be unlike anything the Canberra market has ever seen, bringing a much needed touch of modernisation to the Canberra bridal scene, with its artfully curated, Australian-designed gowns and local artisan wares.

Mrs Fray is the bridal style injection the Canberra market has been looking forward to for a long time.

With finishing touches to the permanent space currently underway, this flagship store will be a beautiful and inspiring environment flooded with natural light yet perfectly intimate for private one-on-one fittings.

Mrs Fray Campbell will open Thursday, 18th July with a launch event for media and special guests hosted that evening from 7:00 pm.

Remaining true to their ethos of presenting the very best in contemporary bridal and breaking the rules on traditional wedding day style, Mrs Fray will showcase designers Karen Willis Holmes, L’eto Bridal, Prea James Bridal and Lola Varma Bridal. A series of “Designers In Residence” events (a take on traditional bridal trunk shows) will be held every few months to highlight the latest collections from our in-house brands and introduce new, unique and up and coming designers to the Canberra bride.

A modern offering of dresses and separates for brides, and ready to wear designs for the stylish women of Canberra is accompanied by a selection of fragrances, accessories, hand crafted ceramics, paper goods and objects for the home from some of Australia’s much loved brands and globally sourced wares, including NATALIJA, Brie Leon, Baserange, OLO Fragrance and Ashley Lim shoes and Frieda Need wedding day essentials.

The Mrs Fray store extends well beyond the regular confines and perceptions of a retail space. Australian artists, furniture designers, jewellers and local creative business owners will be invited to exhibit their wares and tell their stories within the space with the aim of providing the Mrs Fray customer with a heightened experience that goes beyond bridal wear. The store will become a destination that she wants to visit time and time again.

Mrs Fray will be open Wednesday – Sunday from 10am – 5pm. Private one-on-one appointments are available during and outside these hours with appointments secured online here. Everyone is welcome to peruse and pur- chase any of the wares at Mrs Fray between 10am – 5pm every day that the store is open. And, as always, anything that is viewed or tried on in the store will be available for purchase online at mrsfray.com
