Tell us a little about yourselves, what you do, what you love, what is unique about you and your relationship… Bryan and Jane met a couple of years ago at a bike class.  Bryan proposed to Jane six months later in a hail/thunder and lightning storm on the side of the mountain.

Bryan’s plan of proposing on top of a mountain fell short when the storm rolled in. Four months later, Jane and Bryan had a spontaneous wedding in Vegas with Elvis and 26 of Jane’s co-workers.  Eight months later, Jane and Bryan had a more traditional wedding in Golden with their friends and family.

Bryan and Jane both share a love for the outdoors, especially outdoor activities.  The mountains are where Bryan and Jane got to know each other and fall in love.  It only made sense to commemorate this with their wedding photoshoot in the mountains.  Jane and Bryan’s idea of romance is an evening of mountain biking or hiking in the mountains. What is unique about their relationship is they married replicates of themselves in the opposite sex… and they love themselves!

Tell us about your shoot, was there a specific theme or style? Tell us a little about the setting, the styling and some of your favourite details… (From the Photographer) The only premeditated vision involved capturing the landscape in an epic way. I try not to plan the ‘look’ of a session too much; I find it’s best to stay lucid to adapt to the light, compositions and couples’ unique personality.

Tell us about your main outfits: Jane wanted a dress that was appropriate for the mountain setting.  She loves the way it flows in the wind like it was made for the mountains.  Jane told Bryan to buy a blue suit.  So he did.  And that is why they will stay married.

What were some of the most memorable/unique moments from the day? Jane and Bryan have done Ha Ling peak many times before, but never in such style!  It is a beautiful hike with amazing views.  They still can’t believe they have access to such beauty in their backyard.  Bryan’s most memorable moment is watching Jane in solo moment standing at the top of the mountain as the wind caught her dress.
