Orphans Kitchen is a partnership between two friends. Tom Hishon, Executive Chef, and Josh Helm, Manager.

Our restaurant can be found in Auckland on Ponsonby Road, inside a narrow Victorian villa that was built in 1912. The space embraces its history with white washed walls, long macrocarpa dining tables and a winding stairway to the second story. Modern design additions complete the look and feel, from hand blown glass pendant lights, to natural stone and brass detailing.

The restaurant is perfectly suited to those who are after an intimate city wedding. Our team provide a full service experience, from cocktails and canapés, to the more formal sit down dinner. We are happy to coordinate with your event planner and/or florist and can accommodate almost all occasions. We have three separate dining spaces, our private dining room, sun-drenched courtyard which can be fully sheltered and our main dining room.
